New Release
Since 1973, Killerby Vineyards have had two red wines, the Shiraz and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Seven years ago, we started working on a third wine, a Cabernet Merlot. For five consecutive vintages, we made experimental blends of Cabernet Merlot. It took this long to develop the new wine because we had to achieve three things:
Some people may remember trying those early blends in wines such as the 2002 April Classic Premium Dry Red. This was an early Cabernet Merlots that we were working on. The style has developed since then, however, and the 2006 is the second vintage of cabernet merlot to be released under the four cornered label. |
