| Here's the
itinerary:
Friday: Stay overnight in the seaside Clifton Beach
Resort, Bunbury. Be spoiled by a specially created menu at the
wine dinner at the new Vat 2 Restaurant.
Saturday: Have a turn at pruning 30-year-old
vines in the Killerby vineyard and trade knowledge about
viticulture. Lunch in decadence at Capel Vale winery before
enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime treat - heading to Margaret River
to taste Moss Wood's famous wines straight from the barrel. That
evening will be spent dining grandly at Wino's restaurant, then
retiring to the luxurious Basildene Manor.
Sunday: Enjoy a lazy breakfast and read the Sunday
paper before setting off for Voyager Estate to take in the
massive underground barrel hall - the biggest in the Southern
Hemisphere! Then it's a tasting and lunch at Vasse Felix, a trip
to the Killerby Margaret River vineyard, a tasting of the
world-famous Pierro chardonnay, and to finish off the day, we'll
shop Brookland Valley's amazing collection of books, decanters,
and other wine-related objects.
After exchanging phone numbers and bidding tearful goodbyes,
you'll be able to set off on your own to explore the beautiful
south west. |
